The large Fernwood Orchid Mount by Besgrow is a premium mounting board made from genuine New Zealand tree fern (Dicksonia), specially designed for growing orchids, tillandsias, ferns, and other epiphytes.
Thanks to its soft, fibrous texture, the board is easy to work with: wires or zip ties can be inserted directly without pre-drilling – perfect for secure mounting. At the same time, the material retains moisture for extended periods without molding or decomposing.
When dry, the surface has a light brown color that deepens to a rich chocolate brown when moistened, creating a natural and elegant presentation – ideal for use in greenhouses, display cases, or indoor plant setups.
