Our roots & passion

We are a small nursery in the middle of the beautiful Ruhr area. Our passion are orchids from Taiwan. In other words, all those that you can't get in the supermarket or DIY store.

We founded Orchibias - Orchids for Europe at the end of 2020 and are working on our project with full enthusiasm and passion. The focus of our online shop is on the genus Phalaenopsis.

We regularly import new meristems and hybrids directly from Taiwan. Our first import in December 2020 was a complete success. Therefore, we look forward to many more imports to share with you.

We are currently offering you the first pre-order phase. You can order your favourites from the complete collection of an orchid cultivator from Taiwan.

After the order phase, we import directly from the grower and you receive your plants conveniently by parcel from us in Germany.

We ship our orchids to the whole of Europe.

Since November 2022 we cultivate our orchids in a greenhouse on an area of about 1,000 sqm. You are welcome to visit us in the future by appointment and pick up your plants personally.

Our goal is to be able to offer you the entire range of orchids from Taiwan.
